Quilt Jacket No.1 Vintage Double Wedding Ring Chore Coat

Four pocket chore coat crafted from a vintage quilt. This pattern is called Double Wedding Ring and its interlocking rings symbolize love and marriage. This quilt was machine pieced and hand quilted.

I've machine mended certain seams with burgundy, dusty pink, and blue embroidery. After sewing was complete, I garment dyed this jacket light pink and love the way it turned out! It's lightweight with a relaxed fit. Unlined. All seams have been bound with bias binding for durability.

Chest (underarm to underarm): 19"

Body length: 27.5"

Shoulder to shoulder: 17"

Sleeve length: 28"

Fits like: Women's XS-S

For fit reference, model is 5', XXS.

Colour: Light pink, burgundy, green, navy.

Content: Unknown. Feels like cotton with a polyester batting.

Condition: Mending, general wear, distressing especially along hem. There are small flecks of pink throughout leftover from the dying process.

Care: Handwash separately. Soak in cool water with mild detergent. Rinse. Gently press to remove excess water. Lay flat to dry.
